is part of Flaherty Funding's business during the holidays.
The company's owners and employees have signaled their support
of the Christopher's Challenge Foundation. That foundation
is the Non-Profit Spotlight in the Holiday Issue of Fund Times,
the official newsletter of Flaherty Funding Corporation.
The purpose of Christopher's Challenge is to pay for the
typing of blood samples for individuals willing to become
potential donors through the National Marrow Donor Program.
During 2003 Flaherty Funding has been involved in a number
of other charitable activities, among them The Mark Dillon
Memorial Benefit Tournament, the Rich Funke Jr. Memorial Open
and the Delehante Memorial Tournament. The company not only
sponsors these tournaments, but comes out full force to organize,
run and play in them.
CURE Childhood Cancer Assoc., School of the Holy Childhood,
Camp Good Days and Special Times, the Sunset House, Camp CONNECT,
and the Rich Funke Jr. Children's Trust Fund are some of the
worthy causes that benefit from the generosity of the team
at Flaherty Funding. Employees have also served as volunteer
coaches of local youth hockey, football and baseball teams.
