Flaherty Funding Corp. Hires New Employees

Rochester, NY -- February 2, 2005 -- Flaherty Funding, a Rochester- based mortgage banker, is pleased to announce the addition of nine new employees: Ron Kraft, Jay Beckingham, Terri Vasta, Joe Bassett, Kim Gangarossa, Claire Ruliffson, Molly Preston, Karen Szembrot and Allie Pavone.

With the addition of these mortgage professionals, Flaherty Funding is able to ensure the quality of service and product selection its clients and referral sources have come to expect.

Ron Kraft, Senior Mortgage Consultant, has more than 18 years of experience in the real estate and mortgage industry. Ron is a graduate of RIT's College of Business and lives with his wife and two children in Webster, NY. He enjoys fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and attending his children's soccer games.

Jay Beckingham joins Flaherty Funding as a Senior Mortgage Consultant with more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Jay has recently moved to Rochester after spending the last 13 years in Southwest Florida. He is originally from Dover, New Hampshire and is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. Jay now resides in Irondequoit, NY.

Terri Vasta, becomes the Manager at two Flaherty Funding branches - serving Spencerport and Irondequoit. Terri has been a Mortgage Consultant for seven years. She lives in Parma with her husband and is a proud mother of four. Terri is a hockey fan; her son is a member of a traveling hockey team - the Monroe County Eagles.

Joe Bassett comes to Flaherty Funding as a Mortgage Consultant. He is a graduate of Monroe Community College and has more than a year of experience in the mortgage business. Joe enjoys spending quality time with his family, camping and playing softball. He currently resides in Greece with his wife and two children.

Claire Ruliffson is a new Mortgage Processor at Flaherty Funding with more than ten years experience in the mortgage industry. Originally from Pennsylvania, Claire graduated from the University of Rochester. She currently resides in Brighton with her husband, daughter and two dogs.

Kim Gangarossa, a Mortgage Consultant Assistant, is a graduate of Monroe Community College. She has more than 13 years experience in the mortgage industry. Kim has just taken up the sport of skiing and currently resides in Webster with her husband and son.

Molly Preston, a Mortgage Consultant Assistant, is a graduate of SUNY Brockport with a degree in Business Administration. Molly enjoys horseback riding, skiing and camping. She was recently married and resides in Albion with her husband.

Karen J. Szembrot joins Flaherty Funding as Administrative Assistant. Karen grew up in Rochester and graduated from Jefferson High School. Prior to joining Flaherty Funding, she spent time at the Bayview YMCA and the Jewish Community Center in Brighton. Karen now resides in Penfield with her husband and two children.

Allie Pavone is Flaherty Funding's new Marketing Coordinator. Allie has been in the real estate industry for more than three years. She enjoys volunteering in her son's first grade class at West Ridge Elementary and spending time with family and friends. Allie is originally from Rochester, New York and now resides in Greece with her husband and son.
