FLAHERTY FUNDING HIRES THREE NEW EMPLOYEES

Rochester, NY -- October 17, 2005 -- Flaherty Funding, a Rochester- based mortgage banker, is pleased to announce the addition of three new employees: Julie Doyle, Angela Fitch and Michael Bates.

Julie Doyle comes to Flaherty Funding as a Loan Officer Assistant. She attended SUNY Brockport and currently resides in Ontario, New York. Julie is a huge fan of basketball - watching, playing and coaching. She played varsity basketball in high school and currently plays recreation ball for the Town of Webster. Julie was also a volunteer coach for the "Biddy B-Ball" league for children ages 5-14.

Angela Fitch joins Flaherty Funding as a Loan Officer Assistant. Angela is also a Licensed Cosmetologist employed at PJ's Unisex Salon in Sodus Point. She is originally from Sodus, New York, which is where she continues to reside. Angela is also an active volunteer at Red Creek Elementary School.

Michael Bates comes to Flaherty Funding as a Finance & Compliance Administrator. He graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a degree in Business Management. Michael currently resides in Webster, New York. He plays soccer for the Rochester District Soccer League and enjoys camping and the outdoors.
